SHIP OF FOOLS.

The version from the 5/9/77 Buffalo show continually amazes me. I simply cannot listen to it w/out singing along as Jerry really gets into the lyrics. There are time you can tell when he just takes over a song and gives it that heartfelt rendering that you maye don't expect.

That show hs so many other monster songs--the Help/Slip/Frank, obviously, and more--that the SHIP gets overshadowed. But man, when you isolate it and listen, you realize what a show-stopper it is in itself.
